Some versions of the published table for this season vary. The records for Everton ,Blackburn and Bury for example differ between that published by the Athletic News, and other papers. Indeed the goals scored for Southport Central are reported as 44 in the Athletic News, but the results indicate 45 were scored which matches the figures in (for example) the Staffordshire Sentinal. For completeness, those published tables are below, even though neither are believed to be accurate.

Any idea when Moses Russell left Southport Central? He played for Merthyr v Reading FC on 22/03/1913, then 11/10/1913 and 14/02/1914.
We understand that it was in February 1913 that he left for Merthyr having taken the offer of a free transfer rather than a cut in wages.
