Miller nets winner for Imps

Tom Miller scored the only goal of the game as Lincoln stretched their unbeaten run to three matches with a 1-0 victory over Southport.

Lincoln enjoyed a bright start but had goalkeeper Paul Farman to thank for keeping the game goalless as he produced a brilliant save to deny Joe Connor.

The Imps threatened as half-time approached but Jordan Burrow failed to truly test visiting stopper David Raya with a diving header and a dangerous Sean Newton cross came to nothing.

Miller broke the deadlock in the 62nd minute when he headed home Newton�s corner and that proved to be the winner as Lincoln made it back-to-back 1-0 home wins.
